The AYSO EPIC program gives everyone a chance to play.

The AYSO EPIC Program (formerly called VIP) provides a quality soccer experience for children - and adults - whose disabilities make it difficult to successfully participate on mainstream teams. 



AYSO Region 45 started the program in the Fall 2023 season to provide an opportunity for participants to have a mid-week session, which is currently every Tuesday 4:30 to 5:30 pm at Eagle Park in Mountain View.  This compliments the Palo Alto Green Giants program that runs on Sundays.

VIP helps more than just the players. Buddies and other volunteers increase their appreciation and understanding of individuals with special needs. They find their lives greatly enriched by their involvement with their new VIP friends. For parents thinking they would never see their children playing a sport or making new friends, VIP gives them joy and hope. They are able to relax and enjoy watching their children having fun like other kids, perhaps for the first time.

Ages 4 thru adult are supported.  Older and younger players are separated into different games if numbers permit.
