[ayso45-refs] Missing Team Cards

Actually I find both useful for U10G games.

The coach's lineup cards I give to the AR to keep track of the substitutions, and the goals/scorers as well for backup.

My own copy, I use to keep the goals/scorers and any other events during the match.

Subject: Re: [ayso45-refs] Missing Team Cards

I always print team cards of all my games in case the
coach forgets it or fills it out ahead of time (too
messy and hard to understand when they change things
later in the game). If I choose not to use the
coach's, I stick it in my back pocket only after
verifying my names/numbers match his/her's and I'm not
seen doing so. The line up card is for the referee to
accurately record the players during the game. Yes,
we should always ask for it and accept it if already
filled out, but we should use what is easiest for us.
It's a jungle out there!

Them's my two cents, with change.

Hello all.I want to make this brief, so here is my
best attempt. There has been some discussion on
"missing team cards" and the suggestion was made by
several to print them ahead of time. Personally, I
find it annoying when I am asked to print out the
lineup card, I cut it up for the referee to use in the
game, have it ready for when the officials check in
our team, and THEN be told they do not want it.If
there was ever a negative incentive to do the right
thing, this is definitely it!SUGGESTION: Referees
ALWAYS take the lineup card from the coach, even if
they have a preprinted one already. It reinforces a
habit we want to continue, coaches submitting a lineup
card to the officials before the match.Just my .02,
let the discourse begin!Scott McGheeCoach, Referee,
