[ayso45-refs] One Request

Hi David,
This is an equipment distribution issue - the coaches were not given a
choice in the matter unless they are supplying one that they have purchased.
Each coach (U8 and above) were supplied with a single GK jersey generally
taken from a stash that we re-use year after year plus a few new ones that
Score randomly includes with the uniforms and equipment that they send us.
The only real instructions given the the kids stuffing the GK jerseys into
the coaches' bags were to not match the uniform color of the team and to
make the size appropriate for the division. I doubt any mention of yellow
came up during this discussion because I doubt anyone present even thought
of it - I was at the house the day this happened.
In addition, there are a number of teams in Region 45 which were assigned
gold uniforms.
Coaches - although your GK jersey does not match the color of your team,
there is high likelihood that it will match the uniform colors of your
opponents at some point this season. As such, it would be good to have a
couple of pinnies (mesh vests) in your coaches bag in case they are
necessary. In addition, some of the lock boxes have an odd colored pinnie in
them (I saw this at Loyola and Springer when I was doing lock box inventory
a few weeks ago) in the event the GK jersey is in conflict.
Thanks,
Drew.
