One important thing was missing too. The ref's
whistle typically restarts play after subs in lower
level games so everyone is aware of it happening, at
least that has been my procedure.
Also, there is no perfect game. Refs make mistakes.
Learn from them and move on. Life is too short. This
is a game and not the World Cup.
