REFEREE SEMINAR AFTER U.S. WOMEN'S GAME IN SAN JOSE--
USA vs. JAPAN at SPARTAN STADIUM NEXT SATURDAY (JULY 28)


U.S. Soccer is providing a top-notch learning experience to all referees
attending the upcoming U.S. Women vs. Japan game on Saturday, July 28, 7 pm
in San Jose, Calif.

Immediately following the game, U.S. Soccer will host a match analysis
seminar from the referee point of view. The members of the officiating crew
assigned to the match (led by Jennifer Bennett, who was recently named to
work at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China this September) are
scheduled to be guest panelists.

To participate, you must follow two steps:

STEP 1: Purchase a ticket to the game. You may buy tickets using the normal
methods listed below. Alternatively, you may purchase tickets in the
specially-designated Referee Sideline seats in Section 114 ($45 each plus
service charges added by Ticketmaster) using the password REFEREE in the box
designated for Referee Symposium tickets on the Ticketmaster.com order page
linked below:

STEP 2: Send an email to tickets at ussoccer.org to inform us how many in your
party will attend the seminar. Please include the name, mailing address,
daytime and evening phone numbers and email address for each member in your
party planning to attend. We will then contact each person several days
before the game with specific instructions regarding the seminar location at
the stadium. The deadline to inform us of your participation is Tuesday,
July 24, at 5 pm PT.

We look to provide the U.S. Soccer referee community with useful learning
experiences and hope that you will take advantage of this special
opportunity.
