Howdy, refs!
 
The fall soccer season will be upon us before you know it. If you have registered players
in region 45 and haven't heard from your player's coach, you will soon. The region 45
coaches'  meeting was held on Saturday July 29. Practice fields will be available starting
August 14, and the first matches of the season are on Saturday September 2.
 
Each person on the "To:" list is shown in WebYouthSoccer as having been an active referee
in the fall 2005 season.  We hope you will be joining us again this season.  It takes a lot
of volunteers - coaches, fields, region staff, and of course referees - to provide a great
soccer experience for all the kids.
 
We're having a bit of delay updating the referee pages on the region 45 website
http://www.ayso45.org , so for now I attached a PDF of the 2006 web pages as well
as a summary of the fall 2006 training schedule to this email.
 
If you are a returning "U8 Official" who will be moving up to referee at the U9 or older
divisions this year: please look over the "U8-to-Regional-Referee" upgrade training
schedule, then RSVP for the training class you plan to attend.
 
If you are not upgrading this season, be sure to reserve Sunday August 27, from
6:30-8:30 PM, to join us at the returning referee refresher meeting.  Details are in the
attached web pages.
 
Apologies to anyone who receives a duplicate copy of this email, but I wanted to be sure
that I reached everyone.  In the future, my emails will be directed to the region 45 referee
mailing list ayso45-refs at ayso45.org.  If you are not a member of that mailing list, please
join!  Instructions are in the attached web pages (which will be on the region 45 website
Real Soon Now).
 
Hope to see all of you out on the pitch again this season!
