[ayso45-dcs] Status on Practice Game and Game Schedules

Hello Coaches,

The game schedules including the practice game have not been released yet. I
know that some of you have access to the referee area in Web Youth Soccer
and have seen some game matchups, but these are merely place holders for
referee scheduling purposes where the actual matchup does not matter and
they will change in their entirety. These were generated using Web Youth
Soccer's game scheduling program which I have since found unreliable and
inconsistent (in U10 Girls for instance, it scheduled one team to play
another 3 times while not playing half the other teams).

The reason game scheduling is taking so long is that we go to a lot of
effort to deconflict the schedules of our multi-team head coaches. We have
found game schedule templates for various sized divisions from another AYSO
region that will work well for us which gives us the matchups and game
slots. This schedule has been put into a master spreadsheet and is in the
process of being modified to deconflict our coaches.

I ask you and your parents for your patience while I work to get these out.
My volunteer time has been spread pretty thin lately as my fellow volunteers
and I deal with everything that goes on in the region to get ready for the
season.

My hope is to get these out by Tuesday.
