Hello Coaches,

Attached is the schedule for practice games to be held on Saturday August
30th for the U7 through U14 divisions.

This schedule will be released to Web Youth Soccer hopefully on Tuesday or
Wednesday along with the rest of the 1st half of the season.

U6 Coaches - this schedule does not apply to you. The first U6 session is
Saturday September 6th.

Some of you (6 teams total) have been assigned as part of a 3 Team Game.
This is in the U7 Girls and the U8 Boys divisions where we have an odd
number of teams. If your team number is listed, you will play each of the
two teams you are scheduled against for a half. When the schedules are
released to Web Youth Soccer, these will be listed as 2 separate games. Team
A will play team B at 12:15. Team A will then play Team C once the half is
over (the schedule will show 12:40) and Team B will play Team C when that
half is over (the schedule will show 13:05).

If you are going to be short on players, please contact the opposing coach
(that information will be available to you once the schedule is released to
Web Youth Soccer) so that the two of you can best decide how to scrimmage.

Every effort needs to be made to play this game even if it is 3 v 3 using
cones as goals. Even up the numbers as best the two teams can and play the
game - it will be good exercise for the kids, it gives our referees a chance
to manage a game before the regular season starts and gives you the
opportunity to hone your game management skills.

Many of the fields were lined this weekend, but there were some that the
crew could not get to. It is our hope that our volunteers will find time
later this week to line the fields, but if you arrive on Saturday to an
unlined field, please set up cones and use them as the boundaries.

Springer, Loyola, Crittenden, Blach, Stevenson, Oak, Huff and Landels were
lined this weekend.

Cooper, Montclaire, Slater and Whisman remain. With Slater and Whisman, we
are waiting for the City of Mountain View to install the goals.

Further information on fields will be sent out later this week.
